Description

This torrent was uploaded from www.TheBox.bz (signup is open and free) - the home of all British TV

The Audio Visuals were an unlicensed series of Doctor Who audio dramas made by British fans in the 1980s. Featuring Nicholas Briggs as the Doctor, twenty-six audio plays were recorded and distributed on audio cassette between 1985 and 1991 (a pilot, in which the Doctor was voiced by Stephen Payne, was recorded in 1984). The first three seasons (released 1985-1988) were produced by Bill Baggs, and the fourth and final season (1989-1991) by Gary Russell.

Nicholas Briggs currently voices both the Daleks and CyberMen on the new Doctor Who TV sereis, while Gary Russell is a producer working on both Doctor Who and its spin-off, Torchwood. Both have written numerous Doctor Who adventures in various media.

This is the last of four torrents dedicated to the four seasons of the unlicensed audio adventures (all in iPod audiobook format). Also included are the cassette covers and inlays.

"Two totally different breeds, possibly even natural enemies, but no fighting there, they don't try to kill each other."

The truth surrounding Ardethe has been uncovered, leaving Truman Crouch stranded, friendless and homeless. Without the Doctor and Ria, he joins up with a group of prisoners - commissioned under Earth's penal reforms to act as scavengers - locating precious metals. Discovering Truman and miles of Dalek architecture, the prisoners also take on board an unexpected, and very unwelcome visitor. Even in defeat, the Daleks never, ever, miss an opportunity...

Before long the Doctor finds himself embroiled in the machinations of his old foe, Askran, who seems intent on the slaughter of an entire generation, with the help of "Uncle" Ronald Turvey an author loved by the children and blessed by their parents. Sally Milne feels South Africa is a long way to go to find answers, but the Doctor knows that they come from further afield than that.
