L'aereo che trasporta William Donovan, ricco uomo d'affari, si schianta nei pressi del laboratorio del dottor Cory. Trasportato in fin di vita nello studio del medico l'uomo è sottoposto ad

un difficile intervento che tuttavia non dà i risultati sperati. Cory che insieme alla moglie Jan e al dottor Schratt ha già sperimentato la possibilità di mantenere in vita cervelli

trapiantati di scimmie, decide di sottoporre Donovan ad un analogo trapianto per prolungarne la vita cerebrale. In gran segreto il cervello del milionario viene asportato e conservato in

una speciale apparecchiatura. Le strumentazioni rivelano ben presto che il cervello risponde al trattamento e che è in grado di riprendere la propria attività. Inebriato dal successo Cory

non esita di entrare in contatto telepatico con quello che resta di Donovan ed apprende così lati oscuri di una personalità priva di qualsiasi scrupolo......................

Storyline:

Yet another version of Curt Siodmak's novel about an honest scientist who keeps the brain of a ruthless dead millionaire (Donovan) alive in a tank. Donovan manages to impose his powerful
