Doobie Brothers-The Captain and Me, Toulouse Street, audiophile vinyl rip, FLAC

Here are argueably the Doobie Brothers two best albums. These were transcribed from my LP collection using the best equipment I had available, which included a $2500 Lyra Helikon SL moving coil cartridge going into a $15,000 custom built tube p phono stage that used super premium components and featured a massive power supply centered around an 850VA transformer with power rails at 650V.

Toulouse Street I got in a used LP bin and is an early US pressing. The Captain and Me was sourced from an early 80s UK pressing and was bought new.

Toulouse Street in particular transferred with superlative quality-much better than the commercial CD release. This is the way early 70s rock albums sounded...live, vibrant, liquid, holographic etc.

The Captain and Me, also has a very good sound, but compared to Toulouse Street has much more production. Consequently it sounds more 'studio' than 'live' if you know what I mean.

I had both of these seeded individually before, but I need to reduce the number of active seeds I have got going. So I have been compiling common themed albums under a single torrent, as I am doing here.
