Series introduces Dracula as he arrives in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who maintains that he wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. In reality, he hopes to wreak revenge on the people who ruined his life centuries earlier. There's only one circumstance that can potentially thwart his plan: Dracula falls hopelessly in love with a woman who seems to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.

La nuova serie televisiva statunitense e inglese "Dracula", di genere fantasy creata da Cole Haddon e Daniel Knauf, che MYA programma in anteprima assoluta è basata sull'omonimo libro di Bram Stoker.

Questa serie comunque assume un taglio inedito nonostante le molteplici riletture divise tra grande e piccolo schermo e vede Jonathan Rhys Meyers nei panni di Vlad Tepes che fingendosi un imprenditore americano con il nome di Alexander Grayson, si reca nella Londra vittoriana per introdurre la scienza moderna, coltivando infatti una grande passione per la tecnologia e le invenzioni.
In realtà il protagonista vuole distruggere l'Ordine del Drago, ordine fondamentalista cristiano che da secoli lo ha punito costringendolo a vivere con un demone interiore, Dracula.

Durante la sua permanenza a Londra, Dracula conosce e si innamora di Mina Murray (Jessica De Gouw), donna che sembra essere la reincarnazione della moglie Ilona, persa secoli prima. Questa sconvolgerà i suoi piani...
