Dracula (The Dirty Old Man) (1969) Director: William Edwards Starring: Vince Kelley, Ann Hollis, Libby Caculus, Joan Pickett, Billy Whitton By request...so don't blame me! A "WTF??!?" from beginning to end. Dirt-cheap, crazy stuff - audio is post-dubbed, so don't complain about the audio sync - that's the way they released this crap! Softcore, but I'm putting in the pron catagory. Viewed best after heavy drinking. From the dvd packaging: "Newspaper reporter Mike Waters enters a desert cave expecting a "Mr. Alucard" but instead finds Dracula the Dirty Old Man. Wearing a hairpiece that resembles a dead skunk and babbling like a borscht belt comic, the vampire puts Mike under a supernatural spell, renames him "Irving Jackalman," and sends him out to get girls. Mike quickly turns into a werewolf-like creature that looks like a giant rodent and just as quickly begins attacking women in parking lots, gas stations, and even a drive-in! The women are then magically whisked away to the cave where Dracula drains 'em and "Irving" maims 'em until the two ghouls fight over who has dibs on Mike's luscious girlfriend, Ann... A totally discombobulated skinflick mix of sex, horror, and dumb jokes, Dracula the Dirty Old Man may very well be The Single Most Deranged Dracula Movies Ever Made. Oy!" "DRACULA: THE DIRTY OLD MAN is of course dirt cheap and poorly made (the Jackal mask was also employed in the same year's MUMMY AND THE CURSE OF THE JACKAL). It was shot as a serious film, but the director decided later to re-dub it and turn it into a comedy. The re-dubbing is done in a WHAT'S UP TIGER LILY? style, but it's so badly improvised that it sounds like one guy doing two or more voices in a given scene. The timing is usually totally off, the made-up-on-the-spot jokes fail miserably, and Dracula and the Jackal are given heavy Jewish accents that change from scene to scene! You'll wish they'd shut-up after a few minutes of this, but the wild mix of monsters and titillation on the screen should keep you intrigued for the duration of the show." - dvddrive-in.com "Dracula, The Dirty Old Man is part successful comedy, part nudie-fest, and 100% weird. This is by far the sleaziest piece of trash that I’ve yet witnessed (well, maybe a close second to Ed Wood’s Necromania). It’s cheap, poorly shot, almost entirely post-dubbed, and lacks any kind of cohesiveness that’s normally present in an actual “film.” The entire thing is filled with bad one-liners, mumbling jokes, and totally quirky humor (usually involving erroneously fake Jewish accents). Sounds terrible, huh? Well...I loved ALMOST every minute of it." - from BleedSkull.com GSpot v2.70a avi file details: ------------------------------ Filename.........: Dracula.The.Dirty.Old.Man.1969.DVDRip.XviD.avi Filesize.....: 749,304,196 bytes Runtime......: 1:08:59 (99234 frames) Video Codec..: XviD 1.1.2 Final (B-VOP//) Video Bitrate: 1337 kbps Bits/Pixel: 0.179 Aspect Ratio.: 640x486 (1.317) Framerate....: 23.976 fps Audio Codec..: 0x0055 MPEG-1 Layer 3 Audio Bitrate: 98kbps 2ch VBR 48000Hz Language.....: English Sharing WidgetTrailer |
