Thanks a lot for this upload! Been looking for a version which doesn't need a root since the day DQ8 released for Android, almost thought it wouldn't be possible and then I did a search for Dragon Quest VIII without expecting much, and lo I find this great torrent with no root required, thanks a lot uploader!

this is one of my favorite ps2 games.. although i downloaded this elsewhere.. i recommend playing on a tablet vs a phone for smoother performance. runs a lot better on my 2012 nexus 7 vs my galaxy s3.

this game gave me a reason to dust off my tablet! i hope more games get ported..

rename the obb file to main.101.com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq8.obb <-- hence the .obb

then you put the .obb into the "com.square_enix.android_googleplay.dq8" folder.

since you install the .apk first.. it wouldnt make sense to rename it afterwards..

Pretty quick download. Installed & started with no problems on Samsung S3 tab.
Not sure if it's my device but the game itself runs very slowly (no lag, just drags). Couldn't find any options to change anything that might help. Its unplayable for me but GF is still going to give it a go.
