Academy Award Nominee, Best Music (Song), "Baby Mine" (Music: Frank Churchill. Lyrics: Ned Washington), 1941. The shortest of Disney's major animated features Dumbo involves a baby elephant with unusually large ears. Ostracized from the rest of the circus animals, poor Dumbo is even separated from his mother, who is chained up in a separate cage after trying to defend her child. Only brash-but-lovable Timothy Mouse offers the hand of friendship to Dumbo, encouraging the pouty pachyderm to exploit his "different" qualities for fame and fortune. After trepidatiously indulging in a vat of booze, Dumbo awakens in a tall tree. Goaded by a group of jive-talking crows, Dumbo discovers that his outsized ears have given him the ability to fly. The musical score by Frank Churchill and Oliver Wallace won Oscars for them both. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi Format : Matroska File size : 286 MiB Duration : 1h 3mn Overall bit rate : 628 Kbps Video Format : AVC Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec Codec ID : V_MPEG4/ISO/AVC Bit rate : 463 Kbps Width : 576 pixels Height : 384 pixels Display aspect ratio : 3:2 Color space : YUV Chroma subsampling : 4:4:4 Bit depth : 10 bits Scan type : Progressive Writing library : x264 Audio #1 Format : Vorbis Format settings, Floor : 1 Channel(s) : 1 channel Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz Compression mode : Lossy Writing library : aoTuV Language : English Default : Yes Audio #2 Format : Vorbis Format settings, Floor : 1 Channel(s) : 1 channel Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz Compression mode : Lossy Writing library : aoTuV Language : Français Default : No Audio #3 Format : Vorbis Format settings, Floor : 1 Channel(s) : 1 channel Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz Compression mode : Lossy Writing library : aoTuV Language : Español Default : No Audio #4 Format : Vorbis Format settings, Floor : 1 Channel(s) : 1 channel Sampling rate : 24.0 KHz Compression mode : Lossy Title : English commentary Writing library : aoTuV Language : English Text #1 Format : VobSub Codec ID : S_VOBSUB Codec Info : The same subtitle format used on DVDs Language : English Text #2 Format : VobSub Codec ID : S_VOBSUB Codec Info : The same subtitle format used on DVDs Language : Français Text #3 Format : VobSub Codec ID : S_VOBSUB Codec Info : The same subtitle format used on DVDs Language : Español Text #4 Format : VobSub Codec ID : S_VOBSUB Codec Info : The same subtitle format used on DVDs Language : Français Text #5 Format : VobSub Codec ID : S_VOBSUB Codec Info : The same subtitle format used on DVDs Language : Español Text #6 Format : VobSub Codec ID : S_VOBSUB Codec Info : The same subtitle format used on DVDs Language : subtitles for the English commentary Text #7 Format : VobSub Codec ID : S_VOBSUB Codec Info : The same subtitle format used on DVDs Language : Français Text #8 Format : VobSub Codec ID : S_VOBSUB Codec Info : The same subtitle format used on DVDs Language : Español Text #9 Format : UTF-8 Codec ID : S_TEXT/UTF8 Codec Info : UTF-8 Plain Text Language : English Sharing WidgetTrailerScreenshots |
