There's panic at the Carters' when they realise that Ollie isn't breathing. Although Linda manages to revive her son, he has a seizure. After the paramedics rush Ollie to hospital, Linda and Mick tell the doctors that Ollie had a fall and are left reeling to learn he has bleeding on the brain. Blaming Nancy and Lee for causing Ollie's fall, Mick is devastated. Linda tries to calm things down and reassure her son and daughter. More bad news soon arrives when Mick and Linda are told that Ollie may have brain damage. Ronnie is frustrated when it's clear that Phil has gone back to his old ways. When he denies telling her he needs help she is gobsmacked. Determined to help him despite his denials, Ronnie hands Phil a leaflet for an alcoholics support group.
