Eden: The Complete Inside Story is just that - a unique 'behind the scenes' record of the birth and growth of one of the world's most remarkable projects.



Life at Eden was filmed day after day, from before the pit was even bought to the day it opened in a blaze of worldwide publicity.



Over 200 hours of film to the 135 minutes you'll find on this DVD. Its all here - from construction against the odds during some of Cornwall's worst weather, to the sourcing, nurturing and planting of over 120,00 plants from across the world - all against the clock.



The endless quest for funding, the difficult meetings, the depressed moments along the way and the elation of finally opening are all captured by the film crew who enjoyed total access to every corner of the project and to all the larger than life personalities on the team that made it happen. Its their story.



Eden has been described by The Times as "A most un-British success story" and by The New York Times as "a miracle".



This 2002 DVD is no longer available and has been superseded by a 2 Disc set, including a another new 95 minutes of updated footage. The new DVD set is available at

On a personal note, I was lucky enough to visit the site in 2004 and was very impressed. If you have not yet been, then I highly recommend it.
