This is pretty bad result for 3D effect. I don't feel like reconfiguring and experimenting forever to correct it.
it really hurts the eyes.
Had to make some small adjustment for the color and contrast with tremendous results. With this 3D the images pop out at you, especially with the action scenes, which is about 85% of the movie. Nice job - thanks to the uploader!
I think it's not that simple to compare: the 3D-glasses make the image darker again! To me the brightness and colours seem normal...
1920x800, is it ok? i mean, wasnt it 1080? 800 also ok?
It's 800 because the black bars are cropped off, and that again is the reason why it looks stretched when directly played on a Samsung TV. (I think this is a Samsung-problem though, if you have another TV or a good media-player, this may not be your problem).
ohhh ok i figured. i watched a few streched movies as you described. so it means i gotta wait for the 1080. thx buddy.
No! Please understand something, 1080p is the vertical resolution ONLY WHEN A MOVIE IS MADE WITH AN ASPECT RATIO OF 16:9. Examples are Avatar, Avengers etc. A 16:9 ratio shows full screen on your TVs. However, most of the movies are widescreen, i.e. an aspect ratio of 2.39:1. Which means it doesn't cover the entire vertical space on your TV and shows black bars. For this reason it stays at 800p vertically. It'd still be called a full HD video because in both cases horizontal resolution is 1920p.
Right, that helped! I didn't know my TV had that option, but it has! Had to dig deep into the menu for it, never needed that before.

Still, I prefer a rip that I can play directly in my Samsung TV, because I cannot use subtitels if I play via my MediaPlayer (because then the subs are "tricked" like the two halves of the split image.

ThanX for your help though!

And it's a movie worth watching!
With me this worked! 3D looked "normal" to me
