Ekalappai is an application to create an opensource keyboard manager to type non-English languages. eKalappai uses scim-table format for handling the keyboards. Features include supports following 5 Tamil keyboards: Tamil99, Phonetic, Typewriter, Bamini, and Inscript, customizable short-cuts to toggle between keyboards, and handles keyboards in scim-table format which is used by scim input method.
