Uno dei sogni di Elis Regina era quello di poter duettare con il suo caro amico Milton Nascimento, data la sua prematura morte, come sappiamo, questo fu impossibile. Però a venirci incontro ci ha pensato nel 1993 la Philips che ha riunito tutte le canzoni scritte per lei dal suo amico. All'epoca dell'uscita del CD alcune delle canzoni erano inedite, chiuse nel cassetto a quattro mandate di Milton che le rilasciò alla Philips solamente nel 1990. Insomma, dieci tracce bellissime che non potranno mai sostituire un duetto fra i due, ma certamente vuol dimostrare un grande omaggio della casa discografica che ha registrato la storia della bossajazz brasiliana, cantata dalla sua più grande artista.
