After spending a year in space, conducting experiments intended for a lone astronaut, Molly Watts returns to Earth and begins to reconnect with her husband, John, who is a gifted scientist, and her unique son, Ethan. Although she is merely one woman, Molly finds that her experiences in space and in her personal life lead to events that will, in time, change the course of human history.
