F Homer Curtiss - The Order of Christian Mystics (34 Books)

Frank Homer Curtiss and his wife Harriette Augusta Curtiss were Theosophists. Around 1908, they formed one of the early offshoots of theosophy, intending it to be more accessible to westerners by couching it in the language of the New Testament. It lasted about forty years. They had thousands of students in over 70 countries. They had the notion of "ascended masters" long before Alice Bailey or Elizabeth Claire Prophet etc... Many years ago, when these books were scarce, an old man told me (when commenting on the burgeoning New Age movement) that Homer Curtiss wrote all this stuff first. ... come to think of it, that old man' name was Homer too.



Anyway, if you're into Western mysticism, esotericism, etc... this stuff will be of interest. Note, unlike Blavatsky, this stuff is very easy to read.
