By 1993, the band's vocalist, Heavy Duty (2) and guitarist, Head Gasket, would sporadically do punk versions of film reviews on Jon Stewart (4)'s MTV talk show. The band's sole release, You Love Us!!, recorded in a pair of Electric Lady Studios in early Spring 1995, was co-produced by Adam Yellin. Following the release of the album, the group disbanded after their vocalist headed to Hazelton, Minnesota for treatment of heroin and crack addiction. Side note: Heavy Duty was a real cool dude and a good shoulder to cry on. Bonus information. He and a bunch of his buddies amended business names and street names by removing one letter "C" from Canal Street. So, if your business was Canal Bakery, it was magically transformed to anal Bakery. I gotta love him! Sharing Widget |
