You will find the real .exe which is named FF9_Launcher. Make a shortcut of that and put it on your desktop.

You might maybe run the game has admin but I don't have to.

nah, i prefer to play it on emulator epsxe to fast fordward fights, since this would be my 3rd time, great game, just 16 years to play it on pc without emulation lol

For those having problems with frozen screen after Silicon Studio Thailand logo, use FF9_Launcher.exe instead of FF9.exe in x64/x86 folders. I am having other problem though, after lightning up the candle and meeting the team, the 'boss' jumps down, fight animation appears and nothing follows that, black screen (music still on). I tried with different resolutions, window mode on/off and even with changing battle camera/intro in option menu - no luck :( heeelp

You just have to love a console port where they didn't even bother to add "quit" to the main menu. No amount of love for the FF series makes it's affliction of consolitis any easier to endure.

Thanks for the upload. Works great (on win 10) after pointing the shortcut to the launcher in the main folder.
