Description:

FINAL FANTASY X tells the story of a star blitzball player, Tidus, who journeys with a young and beautiful summoner named Yuna on her quest to save the world of Spira from an endless cycle of destruction wrought by the colossal menace Sin.

FINAL FANTASY X-2 returns to the world of Spira two years after the beginning of the Eternal Calm. Having been shown a mysterious but familiar image in a sphere, Yuna becomes a Sphere Hunter and along with her companions Rikku and Paine, embarks on a quest around the world to find the answers to the mystery within.

Based on the international versions of the games that were previously only released in Japan and Europe, FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 HD Remaster brings these timeless classics forward to the current generation of fans, old and new alike.

Selective Download

You can skip downloading of voice and movie-packs you don't need.

MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE CHECKBOXES CHECKED IN INSTALLER FOR CONTENT YOU DIDN'T DOWNLOAD. Or installation will fail.

If you need the game to run with English dub and with European languages GUI/subtitles, download all main files (1-7) plus the following ones:

The last thing is Extended Credits video, available as a separate button in game launcher. They are pretty boring and can be skipped completely. Also, you can simply watch them on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gK3EfCDbOF4

But if you still need them, don't forget to download ones for your language. Due to game archives structure, when you install not all credits videos, pressing "Escape" will show you "Broken Game Data" window. With all videos installed it doesn't happen.

After-install MD5 files verification available only when you install all languages and videos. In that case the game will be identical to CODEX release.

Actually, if your bandwidth allows you - download and install ALL files. Installation time for any languages combination is almost the same, and the final game size too. Of course I tested the game with different options, but it may happen that somewhere deeper in the game you'll stumble on "Broken Game Data" window. To avoid it completely, prefer full installation over selective one. You've been warned.

Running the game with Japanese dub

For those, who wants to play the game with Japanese voiceovers/movies, I've included 3 modified EXE files - FFX-2_JP.exe, "FFX&X-2_Will_JP.exe", FFX_JP.exe

You can run them manually if you want to switch between versions, or, if you're planning to play with Japanese forever, just rename them to FFX-2.exe, "FFX&X-2_Will.exe" and FFX.exe respectively, overwriting original files. But make backup just in case.

Problems during installation?

If you experience errors (Xdelta or Unarc ones) during installation, try the following things:

• Make sure your Windows username doesn't contain non-latin symbols. Use only latin characters & numbers
  
• Re-hash torrent (in Utorrent point to the game entry, stop download/upload, then click right mouse button, then click "Force Re-check")
  
• Disable antivirus (INCLUDING Windows Defender), it can delete installation files or cracks on-the-fly
  
• Set UAC to a minimum level, otherwise some parts of the installer won't run due to restricted rights
  
• Make sure you have at least as two times more virtual memory, than actual, physical RAM
  
• Make sure you have enough space on target drive & on C: drive (or whatever system drive you have)
  
• Try install the game NOT to C: (system) drive OR specifically to C: drive (Windows rights system is a tricky thing)
  
• Check your Windows folder (and below) for unarc.dll - if this file exists, delete it
  
• Reboot in Safe Mode and install the game
  
• Run setup with proper rights, as shown on this image:
