Description

For Vengeance is a death metal band from Hilversum with a unique sound,


which is clearly distinguishable from thousands of other bands within the genre. The band started in January 2008 and has greatly developed since then. Since early 2009 the band plays a lot of shows, what provided them with a solid reputation in the local club circuit.

Bassist Rien Parhan and vocalist Martin de Boer are the founding members of the band. The current line-up is completed by guitarist Bart van den Brink (also active in Divine Sins) and drummer Marten van Kruijssen (ex-Purest of Pain).

With “Epic Death Metal”, For Vengeance put out a demo that is representative for their wayward sound. With this demo the band got the attention of programmers, putting them on the bills of quite a few metal festivals. For example, they played at Amersfoort Metal Meeting, Pitstop Festival and Tsunami Fest and they shared the stage with renowned acts like God Dethroned, Victimizer, Detonation and Massive Assault.

Currently, the band is making preparations for the recordings of their first EP, which will come out somewhere in 2010. After that, they will get out of the studio and into the country to put this EP in the spotlights with a lot of live shows.
