Play single player, or invite your friends to play over the internet and crawl the dungeons together. v1.54b After all the hard work we are finally switching the release candidate builds out to the main branch. If you are still using the release candidates, please make a backup of your character before reverting back to the main branch. You can do so using the properties dialog originally used to join the beta branch. For people who have not been playing the release candidates I will attempt to break down the major changes. Abilities & Perks & Class Trees have been majorly updated. Due to these changes your character will lose all abilities but will gain the skill points so you may spend them appropriately. Abilities & Perks now have have multiple points placed into them, increasing their power level. Cooldown on abilities have been removed, instead only Mana and Rage (mana for martial skills) are used. Equipment and leveling are the main ways to gain this. The health and damage number scales have been updated, are easier at beginning levels but harsher at higher. All numbers double every 5 levels, so keeping gear up to date is important. Increasing item levels are now done at crafting stations which can be found in the dungeons. Crafting materials can be found in gem deposits in the dungeons. Overworld completely updated. Player now has house and chest to store items. Snazzy new character creator. Simple tutorial added to beginning of the game. Beginning storyline has been changed to make more streamlined. As always, if you have any issues with this release please let us know. You can do so by e-mailing us directly at support@forgequestrpg.com, or by replying to the link below. Content Changes Added a new tab in character menu, “Appearance”. Used for appearance only items. Added “Head” slot for changing the head on your character. Added head outfit items into the character creation as well as the pet/clothing vendor. Now it doesn’t move the item and gives you a dialog letting you know it’s full. Trying to equip a rune into an already occupied socket would crash the game. Now it swaps and doesn’t crash. Pets were not gaining XP and wouldn’t level up. Bonus XP runes didn’t actually work, now they do Critical & Engergy Bow now won’t crash when trying to add sockets Fixed a number of generation issues in the later dungeons. Fixed - Minor When using keyboard interface, If you select an different color socket when trying to equip a rune, it gives a deny sound instead of the normal swap sound.
