Four Boys and a Gun is an American crime film first released in 1957, directed by William Berke. The film is based on a novel by Willard Wiener and stars Frank Sutton, Larry Green, James Franciscus, William Hinnant and Otto Hulett.



A very rare JD melodrama. A runner for a bookie gets into big trouble when he blows a wad of cash on a broad instead of paying his boss. To raise dough in a hurry, he masterminds a holdup of a boxing arena with his three delinquent pals. When a cop is killed during the robbery, it is up to the district attorney to determine which of the four boys fired the fatal shot.



James Franciscus appeared in his first movie, "Four Boys and a Gun", while he was still in school.
