Frozen State is a game about the adversities faced whilst existing and surviving in a dying Siberian city, Duga 40.

The experimental city has been infested by an extraterrestrial parasite that has obliterated the native population. Once infected, the parasite causes its victims to become vicious alien hybrids…

However, the grotesquely disfigured creatures are not the only menace that threatens the surviving citizens – hunger, and the bitter Siberian cold, will force them to behave in a Machiavellian fashion with one another

Frozen State is still very early in its development. Some features have not yet been implemented or may not work properly. However, we are continually working to improve Frozen State and eagerly anticipate your feedback and suggestions.

Changelog: Alpha 0.074 Build 52 In this update we’ve finished work on bleeding, poisoning, fractures and burns . The enemy have been given new abilities. -The Jumper - has 50% chance to inflict bleeding (physical damage was reduced) -The Piercer - has 50% chance to inflict bleeding, 20% chance to inflict fractures -The Gaunt - has 30% chance to poison How to get rid of those negative states. Well, the bleeding can be stopped by using simple Bandages, Germicide Bandages or Zelenka (topical antiseptic), the last one is the least effective. The bandages can be crafted from Clean Sheets, combining CLean Sheets with Zelenka will give you Germicide Bandages with better healing properties. Pain from fractures can be reduced only by injecting Morphine. This item can be only found in the world, and cannot be crafted. Poisoning can be fixed in the exactly same way as food poisoning by taking Activated Carbon. Burns, there are not many ways you can burn yourself, but the most simple one is stepping into the campfire. Yes that’s right, if you step into open fire your character will begin to lose health points and eventually will get burns. There are no specific item that can help treat the burns, but you can use medkits. The medkits is a universal remedy, they heal all negative factors at once. The amount of Antrazidol was almost halved, it’s going to be slightly harder to find the “magic pills”, so use them wisely))) We also made five new locations,what makes the total size of the world about 3 square kilometres. The dialog and quest system are almost done, this tools make it possible to start adding NPCs and small quests in the world. Alpha v0.073 Build 40:Hey there, We've conquered that black screen bug! Should everything work just Fine!Alpha 73 build 037Sorry for a delayed update, it took us a bit longer than usual, but we did and reworked a lot of things. First of all we finished the the stats system, everything works fine and you can advance your character accordingly to your liking. Guns’ damage was increased by almost two times. We also added Accuracy stat to the melee weapons, it means that some of your hits will not reach the target. Some other changes were made to the character’s conditions and the way they work (hunger, thirst, fatigue etc.). Now, all conditions are deeper bound and tightly work together affecting one another and some stats for example accuracy and damage. Four more negative factors were added : Poisoning, Bleeding, Fractures, Burns. Previously poisonous food would just take some of your HP out without any prolonged effect, now it works differently. Once you get poisoned your character will be gradually losing health, in order to get rid of poisoning you’d need to find an item called “Activated Carbon”. Starting from the next update certain Hybrids will have a chance to inflict additional damage such as bleeding and fractures. Another big thing that we began to work on is a framework for NPCs and Quests. Bug Fixed: two to three open squares on the map A known bug- some players may find that upon building some of the cabins may have no door/s. It’s a known bug, and it will be fixed shortly.
