FÖLLAKZOID is a band from Santiago/Chile, comprised of four young multi-faceted musicians Juan Pablo (bass, vocals), Diego (drums), Alfredo (synth) and guitarist Domingo. Having dabbled in everything from classic rock to punk before, they started to jam together in 2008, played non-stop without speaking for two hours and were seemingly overtaken by a trance without any clear reference point. After they made their first show they began to delve into 60s German krautrock while cultivating the love of motorik beats.

They recorded their first self-named record in 2009 and also birthed BYM (Blow Your Mind Records) to release this record and others from their burgeoning psych scene in Santiago. Generally they take their time when recording albums, allowing two years in between perfecting their songs with their goal being to make something organic, that breaths on its own, which integrates into part of a separate, higher and bigger living organism.
