in any case, BE CAREFUL what VPN service you use, most log files. there is a good article by torrentfreak on which ones do/don't. google it. for torrents, i use btguard and they are located in toronto...canada has no bit retention law. that means, by law they are not required to keep logs, even if given court order. so, they dump server logs nightly. if you buy service, don't waste money on cheap PPTP/L2TP, get openVPN for speed but mostly lack of drop connections that could bleed your real IP like PPTP/L2TP can.
if anyone requires info on certain VPN's, if they're trustworthy, unreliable or fast (worth buying service) PM me. I have had test accounts with all of them. and if you're thinking about hosting your own OpenVPN because the software is free to individuals, don't.
