Un gruppo di americani in gita a Barcellona si trova improvvisamente coinvolto in una serie di efferati delitti in cui un ignoto assassino uccide a coltellate giovani donne cui strappa poi l'occhio sinistro. La polizia sospetta, dopo avere a lungo brancolato nel buio, che l'omicida sia il pubblicitario Marc Burton, amante della signorina Paulette Stone. L'uomo, dal canto suo, ritiene che responsabile degli omicidi sia però sua moglie Alma, da tempo malata di nervi. A scoprire la verità, con l'aiuto di una foto scattata da una delle vittime, è una giovane lesbica, Naiba.
