to avoid any warning from steam: Install ZONEALARM. it is a firewall that is very user friendly. I use it to block files and/or block internet connection. It also has a "game mode" feature that automatically blocks files that you haven't already designated - example: "game".exe - from connecting to the internet. Quick tip: if you are using "game mode" and start a new game and you get a message that says something like "unable to open "example.bat"" or whatever-just switch game mode to off, use the internet block, and start again. ZA will ask permission to run that specific game. Give permission. Then ZA will ask if program can connect to net. Deny and you will have no problems. Really is easier than even reading this post.
