See the workaround below. “...Gemini does its job well, and with just the right amount of cheek, at that.” MacWorld “Gemini's speed is really impressive.“ TUAW “It’s modern, minimalist, functional and — most important — it works.” MacStories Easy-to-use and attractive interface • Beautifully crafted Retina-compatible design • Drag-and-drop support • Pie chart of files divided by categories • Fabulous shredder-like duplicate deletion Powerful search engine • Fast and accurate scanning algorithms • Removes dupes from your iTunes and iPhoto libraries • Finds duplicate folders as well • Supports external drives and network volumes Intuitive workflow • One-click duplicate selection wizard • Scan right from the Finder’s control-click menu • Ensures originals are kept untouched • Fully-fledged built-in preview Advanced flexibility • Wide sorting options • Move duplicates to Trash or erase completely • Make a list of files, folders or even file extensions to ignore • Select minimal size of duplicates to find Enjoy the fascinating process of finding and removing duplicates with Gemini! iTunes 11 support will be available in the next release. Temporary workaround for iPhoto issue After Gemini removed selected iPhoto duplicates to iPhoto’s Trash, you may still see them in Gemini’s scanning results. It happens because iPhoto database wasn’t relaunched since the last Gemini scan. Here is what you can do: 1. Empty your iPhoto Trash after Gemini's cleaning, if you want to free up space on your Mac by getting completely rid of iPhoto duplicates. 2. Relaunch iPhoto before another scan to update its database and help Gemini see the duplicates were removed. Meanwhile, we’re fixing this issue and will release an update shortly.
