Description
In the 70's and 80's the King Biscuit Flower Hour was a popular weekly radio show that featured live performances by just about everybody who was anybody. The show started in 1973 and continued new programming though 1993. The shows broadcast in SQ compatible quad. The UK had their own version called the British Biscuit, also produced by DIR who was responsible for the KBFH. That is where this show originated.
This show came from a set of reels that would have been used to encode the SQ signal for broadcast. The source was actually from a 4 channel tape that needed no decoding to achieve the surround program. The intro, outro and commercials are also included to take you back to 1977 when this show was originally broadcast. As this tape is about 40 years old, you may hear some slight blemishes but I thought overall this was a very enjoyable show. I hope you like as much as I do. Sharing Widget |
