       Scania Truck Driving Simulator è un simulatore di guida di tir. Al contrario di titoli del genere non dovrai consegnare merci ma compiere manovre e missioni, dalla basi del mestiere a situazioni impossibili. La SCS produce due tipi di giochi di camion: uno in cui devi costruire la tua carriera, come Euro Truck Simulator o 18 Wheels of Steel, e un altro basato su missioni. Scania Truck Simulator appartiene alla seconda categoria ma, al contrario di Trucks & Trailers, riesce a coninvolgere molto più il videogiocatore. Inizierai, infatti, imparando le basi della guida di mezzi pesanti. In Scania Truck Driving Simulator dovrai eseguire dalle manovre elementari a quelle più complicate fino ad ottenere la patente di guida. In realtà, giù dall'inizio verrai messo alla prova con operazioni di retromarcia piuttosto complicate, come quella fuori asse o quella a 90°. Il divertimento di Scania Truck Driving Simulator è però tutto nelle competizioni, in particolare il YETD, ispirato a una gara sponsorizzata da Scania. Qui il livello di controllo del mezzo richiesto è elevato, e riuscire a padroneggiare il mezzo nelle situazioni in cui ti ritroverai non sarà facile. Se invece ti annoiano le prove, potrai sempre dilettarti nella guida libera. Scania Truck Driving Simulator è graficamente molto ben realizzato, cosa che ci fa ben sperare nella qualità tecnica di Euro Truck Simulator 2, un titolo prodotto dagli stessi sviluppatori. Il gioco supporta anche il pad e ti permette di caricare i tuoi risultati online per confrontarti con giocatori di tutto il mondo.
