TRAMA:

Dopo aver perso il lavoro di venditori di orologi (a causa del fatto che tali strumenti sono ormai sostituiti da cellulari ed altri dispositivi elettronici), due quarantenni devono ricominciare da capo. Uno di loro trova lavoro come venditore di materassi, ma l'altro richiede un colloquio (online) per fare un tirocinio in Google. I due passano incredibilmente il colloquio nonostante la loro evidente incompetenza in campo informatico ed iniziano la nuova avventura.
Arrivati nel campus di Google con decine di altri tirocinanti, viene chiesto loro di dividersi in 20 squadre; il gruppo che riuscirà a superare al meglio le prove proposte potrà lavorare in Google. I due quarantenni devono però accontentarsi di formare un gruppo con coloro che non sono stati scelti da nessun altra squadra. Le prime prove sono vinte dal gruppo più forte, ma alla fine il gruppo degli scartati riuscirà a rimontare.

STORYLINE:

Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world. Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students. But, gaining entrance to this utopia is only half the battle. Now they must compete with a group of the nation's most elite, tech-savvy geniuses to prove that necessity really is the mother of re-invention.
