A young American couple, Tom (James Franco) and Anna Reed (Kate Hudson), is seriously indebted to renew Anna's family home in London. With dreams of having their own home and start a family going down the drain, they discover that the tenant of the apartment below is dead and left a suitcase with a fortune.
