Martyn Wade`s poignant radio play about the Yorkshire composer and pianist William Baines who died in 1922 at the age of 23 after a long illness.

Baines left a wealth of beautiful music, much of it never performed and this drama traces the most prolific period of his life.

The music is performed by Eric Parkin and Gordon Pullin.
