DescriptionGuns & Ammo - July 2015 {Bindaredundat} MERWIN HULBERT & CO. REVOLVER Q: Enclosed are pictures of a six-shot, single-action, nickel-plated revolver. It appears to be a Merwin Hulbert but has no defnitive markings. The barrel is 7 inches long and has a right-hand twist. It is .44 caliber by my measurements. The grips are ivory, plain on the left but with a carving of an eagle on the right side. On the left side of the frame is an engraving of an eagle. On the right side of the frame is an engraving of what appears to be a church or a town scene. The barrel, cylinder and frame are stamped with the numbers 38XX. On the butt of the handle adjacent to the ring are the numbers 65XX. Any information you can give concerning the identity and value of the revolver will be appreciated. J.S. Related Torrents
