Description
Instrumental - Ambient-Downtempo
"Dangerously subtle music to disappear in..." This is the one hour program of music from Hearts of Space Radio Show, originally broadcast on the weekend of March 13, 1987 - quite awhile back. As I have not previously recorded or uploaded this music here, I decided today would be a good day for it. MP3s at VBR and FLAC files included, along with the tracklist and program notes. Program Notes by Steven Hill, Producer Here's a program that starts slow...and gets even slower. We'll vanish into music by clarinetist RICHARD STOLTZMAN, and electronic keyboard artists RAPHAEL and JOHN ROBERT KRAUSE. It's dangerously subtle: MUSIC TO DISAPPEAR IN. What really got my attention with this album is that a new artist was introduced on this date. Raphael (I am assuming he is Native American) had his first album out at the time of this broadcast. The album cover for his new album is featured in the program title, and here in the torrent notes. He has since published at least 3 other albums, all with lovely themes revolving around the concept of love and spiritual growth. He is named after (take your pick) a famous Renaissance painter, or the Archangel of Healing. I think his music demonstrates the concept of spiritual "healing" pretty well. Sharing Widget |
