On the grey, cold, misty days of autumn, the music of the ECM label takes on an eerie resonance. For 35 years, German producer MANFRED EICHER has assembled the finest musicians in Europe and recorded them with pristine clarity, creating a catalog of almost 900 albums of extraordinary quality, ranging across jazz, classical and contemplative music.

On this transmission of Hearts of Space we paint the sound of the season with the complex tones of recent and classic ECM releases.
