This is the one hour program from Hearts of Space Radio Show for the weekend of June 10, 2011. The program is split into separate MP3s, and the Voice Overs have been suppressed. In the words of Producer Steven Hill's introduction to the program, "Dhyana is a Sanskrit word meaning the meditative path — one of the eight "limbs" of Yoga in the religious philosophy of India. At its heart, dhyana is a method for self-knowledge, with the ultimate goal of personal liberation. These ideas have had a powerful effect on the music of India. Several times a year, we check in with artists working in this venerable tradition. It's a musical culture which has been adopted by a dedicated group of western artists, who bring this esoteric music to a wider audience.
