Het verhaal volgt de jonge Kika, een tienermeisje dat al een tijd op de vlucht is met haar vader. Het paar probeert weg te blijven van het pad van Kika's moeder en oom, een dodelijk duo van psychotische kannibalen. Maar de moeder haalt ze in, eet de benen van de vader en heeft als doel Kika te doden, een moord die onderbroken wordt door een meteoor die de borst van de moeder doorboort op het kritieke moment. Moeder neemt Kika's hart als een vervanging voor haar eigen en Kika spartelt op de grond. Dan spuit er een bizarre stofwolk stof uit de mond van moeder, wat een zombie uitbraak veroorzaakt. Uiteindelijk wordt Kika ontdekt door een wetenschapper die een kunsthart in haar plant, dat ook de macht heeft over een kettingzaagkatana. Hij stuurt haar terug om de ondoden te doden, haar moeder neer te halen en de zombie dreiging te stoppen.

Storyline:

The story follows the young Kika, a teenage girl that is already a time on the flight with her father. The couple tries to stay away from the path of Kika's mother and uncle, a lethal duo of psychotic cannibals.
