Henry Danger S01E04 Tears of the Jolly Beetle  Screenshot:  Episode Description: Following an awards ceremony held by Vice Mayor Willard, Henry notices Captain Man is bleeding after Jasper accidentally hits him in the face with a toy. Gooch performs several tests on Captain Man, where he keeps getting hurt. Charlotte replays the footage from the ceremony and discovers someone sprayed him with perfume. Captain Man realizes that that particular perfume bottle contains tears of the Jolly Beetle, a happy beetle whose tears can break down molecular density, which is what gives Captain Man his invulnerability. Ray becomes too afraid to fight crime, leaving Henry to defend Swellview alone. Ray begins to lounge around until finally Charlotte discovers that Jolly Beetles only eat Japanese fish flakes, and a giant crate was shipped to a nearby warehouse. Kid Danger goes to confront the scientist responsible for the perfume, Dr. Minyak, who has dozens of jolly beetles crying out tears upon watching sad movies. Captain Man finally mans up to come to Kid Danger's aid. Captain Man fights the goons, despite the fact he can be hurt now. Minyak lets the beetles loose and escapes with Nurse Cohort. Henry and Ray recapture the beetles, and show them a funny show. Gooch explains that the jolly beetle's laugh releases euphoric acid, which will restore his powers. Meanwhile, Jasper tries on skinny jeans to get girls, but cannot get them off until Captain Man sees this and springs into action upon detecting it on his monitor NOTE: A scene from Dan Schneider's earlier shows Drake & Josh is featured in this episode.
