I far as i know, almost no TV supports .mkv files as of now, if you want to see it on TV, stream it via some other method, like hdmi+pc or something, or convert these to .mp4(best option) or.avi(not preferred though), but do remember that if you do so you'll lose dual-audio, and you might have to either extract the subs as a separate .srt or burn it into the file

I'd strongly suggest to avoid all this hassle and rather stream it on your TV via PC using HDMI cable, its would be the easiest and most convenient way to do so
