This is a 2-DVD 1991 collection from the History Channel. It contains a four-part biography of Winston Churchill (British Prime Minister during WWII), as researched and narrated by Sir Martin Gilbert, the acclaimed historian and Churchill’s official biographer. Each episode is one hour long and is presented without subtitles. This is by far the most definitive video biography I have ever seen on Churchill, and I collect them.



The collection also included two additional 45-minutes features; the 1996 “Churchill & The Cabinet War Rooms” - a previously unreleased on DVD special relying heavily on rare news reel footage to paint a portrait of British life during the war, and the Season 1, Episode 14 offering of Biography’s “F.D.R. -The War Years”, which does much the same for America.
