Hitler - Selected Historical Primary Sources by and about (Size: 94.57 MB)
Description
Hitler was the leader of Germany during, and in the years leading
up to World War II. He was the most famous leader (though not the founder of) the Nazi party. He is responsible for the Holocaust - which resulted in the deaths of more than 6 million Jews and in large part, the fighting on the Western front of WWII itself, among other atrocities here and there. Due to these things, he is a strong contender for the title of "worst person who's ever lived." Because of widespread Continental post-war suppression of Nazi documents, translation problems, and a lack of much demand, primary sources written by Hitler himself, with the exception of Mein Kampf, are relatively difficult to come by despite many, many secondary histories and biographies by scholars. In an effort to preserve these sources for the sake of posterity, and to better understand how these horrible events occurred, several primary sources written by Hitler or close (non-political) acquaintances are provided here. I do not endorse Hitler's actions, Naziism, racism, anti-semitism or anything of that nature. These documents are provided solely for their rather obvious historical value. N.B. If your country censors historical documents because they are related to universally loathed 75 year old political regimes, please follow your backwater's relevant laws and do not download. I am not responsible for your incarceration or political disenfranchisement. Remember to seed. Sharing Widget |
