Any container based on H.264 can...that's the beauty of H.264! Can't wait for H.265 or HEVC to be in mass use...this upload would have been about 90-100mb in size!

Yeah, me too can't wait for H.265/HEVC to be standardized... H.264 really fails in the dark scenes. Also smaller file sizes for HEVC too
Do you have any idea when it will be fully out. Last I read, it was in Pre-Alpha Test phase (don't remember the date tough)

Dunno,mate...probably in 2015,cos to support HEVC the hardware manufacturers have to develop components that can run H.265 without any problems. 2-3 days ago,I read in a magazine that in a test by DivX,H.265 decoded at 210fps in a 720p video,101fps in a 1080p video,and 30 fps in a 4K video...mindboggling stats!!

WoW. that's some great stats. I watch all stuff on PC. Supporting other devices doesn't matter to me. I wish they just released the PC version earlier. Of course I know nobody would encode with it then as people also use other devices, but then I would try encoding just for my requirements.
