My notes

This is another misplaced adventure film from the dvd box set called Sci Fi Invasion.
I'm not torrenting all of them and certainly not in one folder but Hundra kept me
watching. The supply of these B-pictures is not inexhaustible, it just seems so.
Though it has the usual weaknesses of the low budget adventure film, I'm watching it
again. From the opening action sequence see the expressions on these actresses' faces
and their postures and tell me they are not immersed in their roles. Also Laurene
Landon as Hundra who does not have a strong voice for dialogue seems to be entirely
enjoying the catch me if you can sequences put together by a director writer and
producer. The weaknesses are there but once found it makes that which really works
all the more enjoyable. 'Enjoyable' may be the wrong word for scenes of violence
against women but it is the fight itself--that _standing up_ --which is rarely seen
in film.

Another of my torrents is "Born In Flames" by Lizzy Borden. There are a few of these
sorts of women hero pictures but they are few. Torrents will keep them going with
your help across all the difficulties of trackers staying active. Such a transition
is going on now.

coming attractions:

I'm a big Abby Dalton fan from when she was on tv in a program called Hennesy with
Jackie Cooper. There's a Hundra- style primitive girl tribe picture called The Saga
of the Viking Women and Their Voyage to the Waters of the Great Sea Serpent (1957)
I've found it or at least my library has bought it on request. It'll be on it's way
to torrents as well.
