While on a spear-fishing outing, Patrick's friend is pulled out to sea and struggles to survive as four-foot waves batter him in the darkness. A Zanesville, Ohio woman is held at gunpoint by people she thought were her friends. Driving home from a friend's house late one evening in Coconut Creek, Florida, Sharon is shot by another driver, who then takes her to an apartment where he continues to rape and lacerate her.
