Iníciate al dibujo e ilustración familiar con este brote post-Illustrator

De los laboratorios o, según nos deja entrever el nombre de sus progenitores, del purgatorio mismo de Purgatory Design, nos llega Intaglio, una nueva aplicación de dibujo e ilustración 2D, diseñada tanto para inexpertos como usuarios versados en el mundo del diseño gráfico y, en particular, conocedores de Illustrator o Freehand.

Más que un sólido competidor de Illustrator, podríamos hablar de una especie de brote post-Illustrator, es decir un retoño nacido en el carril del Illustrator, diseñado en la línea marcada por Apple y aprovechando todos los servicios y tecnologías disponibles en Mac OS X, es decir AppleScript, ColorSync, Quartz, QuickDraw y QuickTime.

Intaglio está escrito en cocoa y nos permitirá crear gráficos en 2D, formado tanto por textos como gráficos, apoyándose en los servicios ofrecidos por el sistema Mac, a fin de trabajar los textos de forma sofisticada, calibrar el trabajo con ColorSync, crear curvas, arcos, rotaciones y transparentes con Quartz o capas de imagen con QuickTime.
