However, there is a "slight" workaround that you can do to prevent it from asking for an update, just edit the registry and it will not ask to be updated for a considerable time.

1. open regedit [type in the search bar]
2. Click HKEY_CURRENT_USER click SOFTWARE click Download Manager
3. find and double click LstCheck
4. Change the date, like 2 years from now [12/09/15 to 12/09/17]
5. click Ok and close the editor.

It will ask to be updated again after a long while [like after 2 weeks for some reason], just change the date again and youll be fine.
