Description
Let's cultivate mutual understanding and tolerance.
I really like the Jains. These are short, simple books for the layman.
In the second edition to his collection of essays, "Shakti and Shakta", Sir John Woodroffe added an introductory essay on "Bharata Dharma", or "The Indian Religion". In it, he explains that the three major Indian religions, Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism all share a core set of beliefs. To make a long story short, Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism are, respectively, theistic, atheistic and agnostic developments of the same core set of beliefs.
