RAW image processing for digital cameras

RAW Developer is a powerful RAW image processing and conversion application designed and optimized specifically for Mac OS X. RAW Developer gives photographers complete control over their digital images and provides flexible, fast and easy to use batch processing. All image editing operations are entirely non-destructive and never modify your original RAW images. All image processing operations are performed at 16 bits/channel or higher bit depth for maximum image fidelity.

Improvements:

Decreases speckle type noise. Improves deep shadow gradations and noise levels. And finally in many cases now has even faster processing speeds!

• Enabled automatic lens corrections in the default settings for many recent Canon, Olympus, Sony and Fujifilm models that now feature support for native RAW lens correction metatdata.

• New default camera profiles and settings for Nikon D600, D800 and D800E.

• New camera defaults for most Sigma models.


Bug Fixes:

• Fixed bug where some image file types (Fujifilm RAF and JPEG) with lower case file extensions would not be recognized and the images would be ignored when selected for batch processing.

• Batch settings options for embedding EXIF and XMP metadata for PNG images were not being properly enabled when choosing the PNG format.

• Fixed bug with highlight recovery with some Sigma RAW images (mostly SD14 files) where extreme highlight areas would have strong magenta tint or poor results when using highlight recovery.

• Fixed bug with older (pre Merrill) Sigma RAW images where some super saturated colors, especially deep reds, could result in loss of color altogether or unnatural results.

• Fixed ISO gain adjustment for recent Canon PowerShot models at ISO 12800.

• Fixed issue where DNG converted images from some Fujifilm EXR sensor based models could cause crashes on load.
