Description

Japanese CP32 series, best sound. I've heard countless vinyl rips and others, but they never add up to these

The new reissues are bass bloated and sound really bad. It's the remaster scam again. I don't know everything about Maiden, but even if these aren't all from the master tapes they still kill everything else. Some could be from other sources, but I doubt it in 1987. CD's were the rage and everyone wanted to have the best in the age of excess the 80's.
You have to consider that the Japanese got the master tapes in 1987-1988. They just released reissues, but what idiots after 30-35 years of master tape degradation. That's why these will always be king, no matter what.
That's 666 degrees of awesome!!!

I commend you for obtaining in the first place, and sharing thereafter, these precious bits. This is simply the best master available for these records as of yet (2014-12). We'll just have to wait and hear for eventual "studio masters" to trump that. Until then, word of advice to everyone:

DITCH WHATEVER CD / VINYL YOU HAVE OF THESE ALBUMS,

AND GET THIS TORRENT. GET IT!

Seriously. You'll (re)discover Iron Maiden in all its intended glory.

THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES, cybergodsig !!!

And thanks to Iron Maiden themselves for making such great music. I own all your studio and live albums at least once, often twice (cuz, formats, years, errrr *cough*). Sadly, my CDs don't sound that good, and even if my vinyls once did, they are old and mushy. So, how about these 24 bits Studio Masters, once and for all?
They are out and suck, trust me. They won't get better than these.
great job!!!
