In this documentary, Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna Lumley takes a journey from the British Museum into the heart of India, Turkey and Oman as she tries to uncover the truth behind the myths and track down what is thought to be the biblical vessel's final resting place. Along the way, she investigates claims that it has already been found, tells the story of the flood and asks why the Ark is so important, not only to people of faith, but also to respected scientists and archaeologists.

Nice tourist trips. But there's nothing scientific about Noah's flood. Such an event is physically impossible. There are flood myths all over the world because after the last ice age many large floods happened. There's nothing astonishing about that Ms. Lumley. That's good for many myths but it doesn't mean a global flood of the Noah type happened.

Actually, while you are right that the Ice Age Floods were physically unable to create a world wide flood per the Bible, (See Britain's Stone age Tsunami, or the flooding of the Black Sea) there is a case to be made for an asteroid strike in one of the Oceans. While it is still hotly debated, the Holocene Groups contention that the Burckle crater, in the Pacific Ocean, theory is plausible from a technical standpoint. An Ocean strike of sufficient magnitude would be capable of sending enormous amounts of water into the upper atmosphere, to cause a world wide rain of several weeks. I am not saying that it is proven, only that it deserves more scientific study, just as the Chicxulub Crater was. Perhaps then we can lay this theory to rest, as either off the wall, or proven.
