Jack de Keyzer is a British-born Canadian blues guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer. Skilled as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, and even a producer. He has made a name for himself in the genres of rock and country, but his strongest ties are to blues. His professional musical career started in the '80s with a group called the Bopcats. After completing a couple of albums as a Bopcat, he moved on to the Rock Angels, and then finally went solo. Since breaking out on his own, DeKeyzer has won a number of awards, including Best Blues Album, Best Guitarist, Best Blues Recording, and many others. Along the way he has released eight albums and received a host of awards, including two Junos for Blues Album of the Year, seven Maple Blues Awards and an International Songwriting Competition award. He has released seven CDs and one DVD as a solo artist and has appeared as a session guitarist on hundreds of recordings. As a session guitarist he worked with Etta James, Otis Rush, John Hammond, Jr., Ronnie Hawkins, Duke Robillard, Robert Gordon, Willy Big Eyes Smith, Bo Diddley & Blue Rodeo. Sharing Widget |
